String functions

I think the $wgPFEnableStringFunctions = true; needs to be set for ParserFunctions extension for this page to display correctly as it was prior. Is it possible to enable it please?

DPL4 is, for the most part, compatible with DPL3 so this site might just be renamed when DPL4 is stable. As for things that will be changed once that happens is mostly start recommending like namespace=main instead of just namespace= as empty parameters may eventually be deprecated and main is more explicit (not supported in DPL3 though only DPL4), and then there is https://github.com/Universal-Omega/DynamicPageList3/issues/394 which needs documentation that I just havent gotten to yet.

Other than that not to much would need changed at that point other then updating references to DPL3 which can probably be done with AWB or even ReplaceText. Universal Omega (talk) 00:42, 31 August 2025 (UTC)

Gotcha, I'll see what I can do! Seems I got ahead of you on the #394 issue tablesortmethod (added but marked as in progress), as on first sort in DPL4, both values (standard/natural) currently sort the same (natural). I'm glad having examples in the help namespace is useful, the original DPL (third-party) site had a namespace for help and for user tests, it was super helpful.
